PROJECT 1: FETTUCCINE TRUSS BRIDGE

This is a project about building structure in which we are required to design and construct a bridge of 350mm clear span and maximum weight of 80g with Fettuccine. I have studied on some precedent studies before we started to design our bridge.  We also tried to construct different bridge design in order to find out the design that can withstand the maximum force. Followings are the photo of different fettuccine truss bridge.

Through this project, i have learned to  explore and improve attributes of construction materials understanding of load distribution in a truss. At the same time, we are also able to evaluate and identify tension and compression members in a truss structure.
