DESIGN COMMUNICATION (ARC 1713)
This module introduces fundamental skills for the appropriate communication of architectural design. It engages different means of visualization and expression of space and spatial ideas through architectural drawings and modelling to prepare students with the skills required in design projects.

Project 1A: On Site Sketching
I have understood the notion of spaces in architecture. I also developed my skills in visualising of space through observation and perception of a given site as well as my sketching skills as a mode of communication.
Project 1B: Tonal value
I have known the notion of spaces in architecture. Furthermore, I also improved my skills in communication the above in various tonal and depth values as well as the various techniques of hatching through different medium.

Project 2B: Axonometric Projection
I have learnt to express spatial idea and architectural detail in three dimension, in the format of an axonometric projection. I also understood what the axonometric projections are. I also learnt how to generate and use them in my design.
Project 2A: Orthographic Projection
I learnt how to draft in modern and traditional method of architectural drawings. Moreover, I also learnt to apply the architectural symbols on my design. I learnt to use line types, line weights, line quality and hand lettering on my design.

Projec 2C: Perspectives
I have learnt to express spatial idea and architectural detail in three dimension, in the format of one- point and two point perspectives. Besides, I also understood about the different types of perspective and I have learnt how to generate and use them in my design. Therefore, I learnt to produce my architectural drawings creatively.
