HON YI HANG

The project is an integrated component where it involves structural theory, force calculation and basic structural proposal. This project introduces demonstration of knowledge and understanding of building structure.

 

This project required us to form a group with seven person.  After that, we need to find a floor plan of maximum three storeys bungalow.  Then, we need to produce the structural plan of the bungalow.  The structural plan included foundation plan, ground floor plan, first floor plan and roof plan.

 

For the individual task, each student is required to perform structural analysis of the bungalow.  Through this analysis, I have learnt to identify and quantify the load acting on the structure.  At the same time, I am able to analyse the structure by calculating.  The structure included beam and column.
