Door Family Component
Choose new family project to create a family component.
Choose metric door to create a door component.
Choose the new family file to create a family component.
At Exterior Elevation:
Using reference plane to create the outline of door panel frame.
At Exterior Elevation:
Annotate the dimension of door panel frame.
At Left Elevation:
Using reference plane to draw the outline of door panel frame thickness.
At Left Elevation:
Add parameter on the dimension of door panel frame thickness.
At Exterior Elevation:
Extrude the center of door.
At Exterior Elevation:
Extrude and lock the door panel frame.
At Left Elevation:
Adjust the thickness of door panel frame.
At Exterior Elevation:
Void extrusion is applied in the center of door in order to create door panel frame.
At Exterior Elevation:
Void is extruded and locked.
At Left Elevation:
Adjust the thickness of door panel frame.
At Left Elevation:
Using reference plane to draw the outline of door thickness and annotate it.
At Exterior Elevation:
Using reference line to draw the
outline of door with four glasses.
At Exterior Elevation:
Annotate the dimension of door with four glasses.
At Exterior Elevation:
Add parameter on the dimension of door with four glasses.
At Left Elevation:
Using reference plane to draw the
outline of glass thickness.
At Exterior Elevation:
Void extrusion is applied in the four glasses. After that normal extrusion is used to create the thickness of glasses.
At Left Elevation:
Adjust the thickness of four glasses within the door.
Edit the visibility of the door component.
Final outcome of door component.
